Hi Dominique, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello Gems ,Yes I would love to. I fell in Love with the Beauty Business at the age of 7 so it only made sense for me to attend Paul Mitchell and build my career working as a licensed cosmetologist. For the past decade I had been working as a Cosmetologist, I Studied & Trained for years to operate every aspect of the business. I can Successfully Service the entire family. Dad, Mom and children. From Hair Cuts , Color, extensions , manicures , pedicures ,massage and facial, I can do it all. I can even send you home with some amazing take home Beauty products created by Me ! I am not sure if licensed Professionals are fully aware of all that they can do with their license but if you love the business like I do ,the possibilities are endless once you Align your Mind!
When Covid 19 showed up and shut my salon loft down I was devastated. The career I worked so hard in and loved was over with. To think that I would not be able to make a living to provide for my 2 kids( my daughter at the time was 1 years old and my son was 8) did not sit well with me because they depend on me for everything. I was at a standstill with no steady income coming in and a big cloud of negative thoughts filling my mind. I was in a space where I could not focus on my own self-love and self-care so I knew something needed to be done but had no clue where to start. During quarantine I watched Lebron’s Netflix series “Self-Made the Life of Madam CJ Walker“ and I was in amazement of how she made something out of nothing. My wheels were in high gear and turning from that point on. For many years I have been focusing on living a healthy holistic lifestyle, I was raised in a Christian household hold and seen my dad use herbs to heal himself and his family. I always practiced and strived to reach the ultimate Zen mindset in love, relationships, and business. As a licensed cosmetologist I have studied the negative effects chemicals have on the skin, hair, and ultimately the entire body. So I understand how important it is to use all-natural products on myself and my kids. I studied ingredients and I created 14 original recipes of skincare and Haircare products . I have been making crystal creams , body butters , soaps, and oils for my family since my son was born in 2011. I had a wild idea “ what if I make these wonderful products and sell them to other family and friends.” So I did just that and here I am almost two years later after many local Pop-up Shops around the Cleveland area selling out of my products. I had a dream to open a boutique So I can provide all the tools that helped my family in so many ways! I offer natural skincare, holistic haircare, Chakra Facials using my Crystal & Cream products , reiki relaxation massages , Oracle Readings, manifestations candles, Reiki Crystals and many other spiritual tools to cultivate inner peace , wellness and renewed beauty that will have your Skin & Soul Glowing! In the world we live in today a sense of well-being and spiritual fulfillment is essential. By creating a focus on your self-care and self-love, You can be extremely successful in your everyday life vibrating at your highest frequency. I embraced my Inner Child and took a simple early lesson from early childhood which is ,”If you look good , you feel good , you do Good.” It still stands true 30 years later. My products have helped me take care of my kids with hopes to leave behind a Legacy for them and their future family & kids. To be able to provide a sense of stability during these very difficult times is not always easy but worth all the challenges.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not at all! Building a business is not for the faint at heart . I have lost relationships on this journey that I thought would last forever. With every challenge I have gained so much new knowledge that my way of thinking has elevated me to a new level of understanding that has allowed me the time and space to evolve and meet new people who are mentally & Spiritually on a higher level. I love having the opportunity to build with others and Being a Sagittarius Ruled by Jupiter I love expansion and change! So what is for Evil I always find a way to use for my Good. Another obstacle that I learned early on and this may sound strange but it is a lot of fake crystals being sold! In order to receive the benefits of healing crystals they have to be 100% authentic! I started traveling to crystal mines and mining my own crystals to ensure the authenticity of the crystals I sell.

I feel in love with the author Florence scovel shinn books & teachings over 3 years ago. I am amazed with how her teachings resonate with my life right now in 2022! I beg everyone to please read “The Game of Life & How to Play it“ I also use an app called Self Pause. The cool thing about the app is your can record your own personal affirmations and sync it to music and nature sounds ! I believe our bodies are temples so during times of fasting and detoxing I indulge in a plant based non-alcoholic beverage called Three Spirit.
