Today we’d like to introduce you to Deiahna Garner.
Hi Deiahna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my career journey working retail throughout college at The Fashion School at Kent State University, and over the years, I worked freelance as a Wardrobe Stylist, and most recently, I’ve launched a Creative Consulting Agency with a focus on fashion and art clients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely Not!!! My route might as well be through the Grand Canyon! I’ve struggled a lot throughout my career, but the major issue that I’ve had to navigate through it all has been my struggles with my mental health. It has been extremely challenging to push through with my career despite these issues but I look at each day as an opportunity to work through these challenges and do my due diligence to make sure that I am triumphant.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Primarily I am a Wardrobe Stylist. I specialize in editorial/magazine-like photoshoots. The more high-fashion, artistic or creative the better. I am most proud of the work that I’ve created in the past couple years. They’re the type of productions I have always dreamed of doing, and despite it taking some time to get here, I’m only getting started.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My Tenacity and Determination. I haven’t given up, and I do not plan to.
