Conversations with Deborah Bryan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Bryan.

Hi Deborah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a medium and healer who works across all dimensions. I was born with these gifts, and in many ways, I was blessed not to realize how unusual they were at first. As a child, I believed I was simply dreaming, until those “dreams” began to unfold in real life. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I understood they weren’t dreams at all, but visions.

Before I was born, my father experienced two near-death events, one at 18 and another at 23. During those moments, he encountered heaven and was told he needed to return to Earth. Thankfully, he did. He raised us without fear of death, teaching us that heaven is real a place of peace, wholeness, and utopia. During his second crossing, he met his mother, who ensured he would return. Knowing that the soul continues beyond this life has always felt like a profound blessing.

When I was five years old, I had my own experience. I slipped on wooden steps outside, hit my head, and lost consciousness in a wash basin. I remember an angel lifting my head out of the water and waking me. Afterward, I simply went to find my mother, not fully understanding what had happened, but feeling protected.

Throughout my childhood, whether at church or among strangers, people would often comment on the brightness of my inner light. At the time, I didn’t understand what they meant.

My children have also been born with similar gifts. When they were each about five, they struggled to sleep because of the many angelic visitors they perceived in their rooms. It was difficult to explain something so profound to them at such a young age. I sought guidance for my oldest child from a visiting priest from South America, who confirmed she carried what he described as God’s source light, something I already felt deep within. Later, a local medium helped her learn how to protect her energy, and she also noted that she had rarely encountered abilities like mine. I enrolled in her class, where I learned to open my third eye more consciously. From that moment, I began doing readings. My third eye has remained open ever since, though I’ve learned the importance of grounding myself and closing off when needed.

Through meditation, I focused on maintaining the highest vibration of truth and healing. During a period when I was physically recovering and spending long hours in stillness, I received what felt like a profound message, a puzzle about the meaning of life and the purpose of our lessons here. In that state, I experienced a connection with Archangel Uriel, who helped me understand why we are here and how to live aligned with truth. It was a turning point, one that shifted my perspective permanently.

For many years, I worked quietly as a medium. Then I was called to bring my work forward and create something more structured. That’s how “Trueism” came about, a reflection of my connection to truth. I later expanded it into the Trueism Movement, both of which I formally established.

Over time, I’ve served as a conduit for many forms of healing and helping people connect with loved ones who have passed and receiving insights related to emotional and physical well-being. Through my visions, I can perceive aspects of the past, present, and potential future, describing what I see and trusting the guidance that comes through.

I’ve also written two books that explore both the broader spiritual perspective and the healing experiences I’ve witnessed.
In all that I do, I remain committed to working with the highest energies, those of clarity, light, and love. I align with the presence of archangels and the teachings of Jesus, holding to the belief that truth is always rooted in love. While darkness exists, it does not need to be feared. By staying grounded in love, we remain connected to truth.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I stay hidden for many years since I was told by some people that my gifts were sacrilegious. I also wanted to be the best mom for my children and I didn’t want to draw attention to my gifts.
Now I tell my children that I love them unconditionally and I want them to love me the same way. It seems to be working now.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I went to college to get a business and a computer degree and I do the computer work for my day job.
I’m also a medium, life, coach, spiritual healer, and that is my passion and I work on that when I’m not doing my day job

What matters most to you?
My passion is healing into awaken people to the truth. I know I’ve been a spiritual teacher in many past lives, and when they asked who wanted to come down and this timeline, I saw myself raising my hand and bringing myself forward to allowed to come down because I was told I was allowed to finally speak the truth. The truth is that we are all here on earth for school and to learn how to grow thru life lessons.
