Today we’d like to introduce you to Staysha Jones.
Staysha , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my business in 2023 with a passion for exercising and helping others with their fitness goals. I love to help people with confidence because it’s something I struggled with for a long time. Fitness is the one thing I can be great at without trying, it’s just natural I naturally just love to exercise I always have, even as a kid my parents had to beg me to come inside because I wanted to run all night and play football in the streets. Currently I am still growing my business. I’ve always been working a 9 to 5 job or in school so it’s always slowed down my process in being able to fully indulged In my passion. I’m hoping to gain as much support as possible in Cincinnati. I’m open to helping anyone with commitment and a goal, I’ll do the rest: My plan is to get more involved with the youth. I feel that it is super important that we learn to eat healthy, exercise and stay active at a young age. Especially with the new era of social media, and electronics it’s not as easy as it was when I was a kid. My goal is that any and everyone feels welcomed, I want to give individuals hope and help them become healthier.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Some struggles I have experienced and still am going through is working a job, and being in school with other businesses and also finding the energy to train. It can be tough especially with doing all of those things and still having to pour into others. What helped me is remembering the goal I have for myself and the commitment I made to others. Show up for yourself and also show up for others that’s how you win in life. It’s not always about you, as a business owner that works with people you will sometimes have to put people in front of yourself to do your job. Remembering why we are here is always important.
As you know, we’re big fans of Stayfitt513 LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am proud African American woman and the first in my household to own a business. What people should know about StayFitt is that it is authentic, it’s small but intimate. Every client is catered to based on their goals. I specialize in changing my clients lives in the gym, creating a safe space where my clients and work off any anger, anxiety or depression we may even have a crying session it’s real life. I’m known for “the woman that works out” or “the woman that trains” which I love. What sets me apart from others is that I am me, I have my own training style which is like no other, you’d have to be there to get the experience I speak to my clients like family, I support them, I push them, I cheer for them it’s an experience that you’d only receive from Staysha. I am most proud of the love I receive from all over the world, you never know who’s watching you and cheering for you and it makes me feel like I am doing my job with a passion. What id like readers to know about my business is that you want catch a deal like mines in this lifetime, I’m realistic, I work with people because I understand how life works. I love people, you’ll always have my support whether you train with me the first month and move forward after that. I’m always rooting for people to truly tap into themselves and change their lifestyle.
How do you think about happiness?
God makes me happy. Knowing he gave me the ability to teach and train others. Knowing he wakes me up everyday to do this thing called life. Knowing that I’m not always going to be motivated but God still gives me strength to maneuver through any and every obstacle.
