I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the quiet solitude of my humble kitchen, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, armed only with a passion for food and an insatiable hunger to learn. Self-taught from the very beginning, I devoured cookbooks like novels and treated my stove like a canvas, experimenting with flavors and techniques until they danced harmoniously on my palate. 

Yet, as I ventured beyond the familiar confines of my kitchen, I encountered a world that seemed reluctant to embrace my unconventional path. The culinary establishment, with its rigid hierarchies and traditional pedigrees, regarded me with skepticism, dismissing my self-taught expertise as amateurish folly. 

Undeterred, I persevered, immersing myself even deeper in my craft, seeking solace and inspiration in the alchemy of ingredients and the poetry of plating. But despite my dedication, the whispers of doubt—imposter syndrome—haunted my every step, threatening to undermine my confidence and extinguish the flickering flame of my ambition.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The pandemic has brought about its own set of unique challenges and lessons. As a result of the pandemic, I learned the importance of being flexible with my service offerings to accommodate the changing needs of my clients, whereas small pivots ultimately led to major financial gains. The diversification of services afforded me the ability to offer virtual cooking classes, meal plan services, menu planning consultations, gourmet-to-go concierge services, brand endorsements, etc. 

Furthermore, the pandemic has also heightened my awareness of the various health and wellness needs of my clients, which led me to modify and adapt a number of my menus to cater to clients’ specific dietary needs, allergies, and preferences. These subtle modifications helped me to build and sustain stronger client relationships.
