Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Jackowski-Pankey.
Hi Morgan, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Party planning and decorating have always been a passion of mine. I always went over the top when planning my daughters’ birthdays. In 2020 when COVID had just hit, I wanted to make my daughter’s summer birthday special, since so many things were uncertain. I had been seeing all these fancy balloon arches on social media. So, I YouTubed how to make a balloon arch. From that party on my girls always requested a balloon arch. After my extended family started seeing my work, they too wanted to “hire” me. In August of 2021, I decided to start an Instagram page to showcase my balloon work. So many friends, family members, even strangers, were so supportive and wanted to book with me for their parties. I have been constantly busy with projects since then! I usually have a least one install a weekend.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
To be honest, the road started off pretty bumpy. I think I was in way over my head. I didn’t realize what it would take to run a small business. I felt very unorganized and had to find better systems. Lucky for me I’ve met some other amazing balloon stylist who have been so helpful and supportive!

One thing you should know about The Balloon Babes is that we are super passionate about what we do. We work our hardest to bring your vision to life and create something super memorable and fun for your party. We specialize in balloon arches and garlands. These are our most ordered items and what we love making the most! One thing that sets us apart is that we are a family-run small business. My husband handles the finances, I bring the projects to life and my daughters help inflate and install. We all work together to provide you something special. This is also what I’m most proud of brand-wise. That we all work together to make this brand successful.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing people might not know about me is that I used to work in the medical field. I gave that up to raise my daughters. Now that they are both in school, I wanted to do something that I loved doing every day, and nursing wasn’t it anymore. I started The Balloon Babes and haven’t looked back since!
