Community Highlights: Meet Moe Taylor of BrainDagger Films

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moe Taylor.

Hi Moe, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I attended film school at the Colorado Institute of Art, then joined the US Navy as a videographer/journalist. I was lucky enough to film news stories in over forty countries in nearly every situation imaginable. After that, I worked as a producer for NBC before I retired and started my own film studio here in Cleveland, BrainDagger Films. BrainDagger Films is a film/television/music studio that provides art for causes, events, non-profits, bands, businesses, etc., we find interesting, entertaining, or thought-provoking. We operate with the intention of helping people understand others they don’t get along with, nature, science, and the world around them, and we hope to help eradicate the different realities we all seem to reside in. Misinformation has caused more death and destruction than anything else in the history of humankind! STOP HATING PEOPLE BEFORE YOU MEET THEM!!! 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Correcting misinformation, confusion, and let’s face it, for a lot of the US populace, hysteria is a never-ending job, and the people that simply willing refuse to listen to facts that contradict their reality bubble is the most infuriating part of the job.

BrainDagger Films produces films from every end of the spectrum, but our pride and joy is our award-winning documentary department. As of this writing, we have won or been nominated for 99 film-festival awards across the globe as listed on IMDB.

With this understanding of the world around us we can learn to comprehend our perceived enemies’ point of view and hopefully treat our fellow man a little better.

In other episodes, we take an in-depth look at the medicinal benefits of psychedelics with interviews and footage from an Ayahuasca ceremony in Costa Rica (The Importance of Strange Perceptions). Currently, we are in production on (The Glorious Spectacle of Human Programming) which focuses on how humans are programmed by their surroundings to behave and act a certain way and how we are similar to computers (narrated by AI).

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the entertainment industry collapsing into something completely unrecognizable due to AI. Well, even more so than it already has collapsed lol sigh.
