Hi Joseph, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Throughout middle and high school, I was involved in various after-school programs like theater, choir, and Science Olympiad. However, there was one experience that truly shaped my path: the Technology Magnet program at Riley High School. For three years, I learned about different software and how to use them, sparking a deep interest in technology and media. This program was a pivotal moment, as it introduced me to the world of software, which soon became a passion.
When it came time to decide on my next steps, my love for working with software and programs led me to Full Sail University. I enrolled with the goal of obtaining a certificate in Media Communications, a decision that turned out to be one of the best I ever made. Full Sail not only provided me with valuable technical skills, but it also nurtured my creativity and understanding of the media landscape. After completing my certificate, I continued my education at Full Sail to pursue my Bachelor’s in Digital Cinematography, refining my knowledge of visual storytelling.
While at Full Sail, I realized I wanted to take my passion to the next level. I didn’t just want to learn about media; I wanted to create something of my own. So, I began building my business—Giovanni Turner Studios. I wasn’t entirely sure of the direction I wanted to take at first, but I knew I wanted to capture moments that would last a lifetime. I started small, experimenting with different services and approaches, learning as I went.
Giovanni Turner Studios now stands as a reflection of my journey and dedication to preserving precious moments. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, or a family gathering, my goal is to provide my clients with high-quality visuals that they can cherish for years to come. Every project is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make memories eternal.
Looking back, I’m grateful for the experiences that have led me to this point. From high school programs to Full Sail University, each step has contributed to the person I am today. As I continue to grow my business, I look forward to what’s next, knowing that every moment is an opportunity to learn, create, and make an impact.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
After a lot of hard work, I eventually found myself in a steadier-paying job, which allowed me to invest in the tools and resources I needed to take my business to the next level. With the financial security I gained from this job, I was able to rent out studio spaces and purchase props for shoots, knowing that every dollar invested would pay off in the future. My goal is to eventually own my own space, a place where I can proudly display my name and provide top-tier service to clients.
Giovanni Turner Studios is now a reflection of my journey and the hurdles I’ve overcome. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, or a family gathering, my goal is to provide my clients with high-quality visuals that they can cherish for years to come. Giovanni Turner Studio is what I want it to be known as a multi-media business, but my main line of work is videography and photography. I will capture your images or videos for you along with editing them to your liking so that you have to show up with a creative idea. I also work with managing Facebook Fanpages and managing and building websites. I also created my price list to meet those who don’t have hundreds to spend on a photoshoot. I capture all types of creative pictures to showcase all types of drama or documentary films.

Newborn Shoots 100$ per hour
Maternity Shoots 100$ per hour
Mommy & Me Shoots 120$ per hour
Family Shoots 150$ per hour
Pet Shoots 50$ per hour
Couples Shoots 130$ per hour
Senior Shoots 80$ per hour
Individual Shoot 80$ per hour
Wedding Shoots Begins @ 250$ per hour
Recording/Videos 100$ per hour
*Every shoot comes with 10-15 edited photos.
*Wedding shots come with 50-70 edited photos.
And anything more than 50 miles there will be a travel fee.

My outgoing personality and sharp eye for detail are what truly set me and my business apart. I’m not afraid to break the mold, take creative risks, and deliver fresh, unexpected ideas that turn heads and get people talking. I thrive on standing out, and my clients feel that energy in everything I do.
