Community Highlights: Meet Jessica Lambrinides of Skyline Chili Apparel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lambrinides.

Hi Jessica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Nicholas Lambrinides started Skyline Chili back in 1949. He was my great grandfather.

Fast forward 73 years and my brothers, my father, and I are still a part of our family business.

Over the years, customers in our restaurants ask the same questions- “What apparel do you sell?” “Do you have anything for kids?” This presented me with another opportunity to get involved with the brand I love. The brand that’s become an intrigal part of Cincinnati and its history.

Cinci Cribs started as a kids’ brand with generic Cincinnati chili-themed apparel. The first item I created was a hooded romper for babies with a cheese coney pattern. To this day, that romper is still my number one seller.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been neat to see this journey through. What began with a simple Etsy account and selling at craft fairs around Cincinnati has grown to selling coney apparel to other Skylines and companies like Cincy Shirts and blossomed to my newest venture, Skyline Chili Apparel.

I’m always looking forward to new business ventures and love any opportunity to get involved more with Skyline and other Cincinnati brands.

I eagerly anticipate what’s next, but love where I’m at, creating new apparel every week.

As you know, we’re big fans of Skyline Chili Apparel. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
All of my items are listed on my Etsy page, Cinci Cribs, and the Skyline branded items can be found on I love the design process and seeing the designs come alive on the first print of each new item.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I am always in search of new opportunities and partnerships, whether that includes Skyline or other Cincinnati brands.
