Healing Mama Brand LLC was born out of my personal journey through severe postpartum anxiety and depression. In the midst of my struggles, I discovered that journaling and talk therapy were the most effective tools for my healing. This led me to write and publish The ABCs for the Healing Postpartum Mama, a guided journal available on Amazon.com, as a way to support other mothers navigating similar challenges. Inspired by my own transformation, I was determined to expand Healing Mama into a holistic lifestyle brand. I became a certified doula to provide hands-on support to mothers, and I founded the Healing Mama Social Club to create a safe space for connection, encouragement, and community. Healing Mama Brand is now a reflection of my healing and a mission to walk alongside others in theirs.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Although juggling motherhood, a career, and entrepreneurship comes with its share of challenges, I have developed a deep love and passion for Healing Mama Brand LLC that continues to drive me forward. There are days when balancing it all feels overwhelming, but the purpose behind this work—supporting and empowering mothers through every stage of their journey—keeps me grounded. Healing Mama is more than a business; it’s a reflection of my own growth and healing. Each step, from creating the guided journal to building community through the Healing Mama Social Club, has affirmed my desire to make this not just a brand, but a sustainable and meaningful lifestyle.

Healing Mama Brand LLC is a heart-centered business devoted to supporting mothers through the emotional, physical, and mental transitions of motherhood. Born from my personal experience with postpartum anxiety and depression, the brand began with the creation of The ABCs for the Healing Postpartum Mama, a guided journal available on Amazon, designed to help mothers reconnect with themselves through journaling and intentional reflection. Since then, Healing Mama has grown into a full-spectrum support system offering both community and hands-on services.
As a certified birth and postpartum doula, I provide personalized support for mothers during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. My goal is to ensure every mother feels empowered, supported, and nurtured throughout her journey. Healing Mama is also known for the Healing Mama Social Club—monthly gatherings that offer a safe and welcoming space for moms to connect, share, and grow together.

This is more than just a business—it’s a lifestyle built on empathy, understanding, and real-life healing. I’m most proud of the sense of community we’ve created and the impact we’re making in helping mothers feel seen, heard, and supported. What do you like and dislike about the city?
One of the things I like most about Columbus, Ohio is the strong sense of community and the vibrant mix of culture, creativity, and opportunity the city offers. As an Ohio State University alumna, I have a deep appreciation for the pride and spirit that runs through this city—from the Buckeye traditions to the growing network of small businesses and entrepreneurs. Columbus has been the perfect place to grow both personally and professionally. It’s a city that supports innovation while still feeling warm and grounded, which makes it an ideal home for a heart-led brand like Healing Mama.
