My journey through postpartum led me to discover the power of healing through herbs, which inspired me to create a unique self-care business centered on personal transformation and wellness. What began as a quest for healing soon blossomed into a passionate exploration of herbalism, culminating in the creation of my business: My Pure Package.
My Pure Package specializes in handcrafted self-care products infused with carefully selected herbs, each chosen for their therapeutic benefits and nurturing properties. From soothing bath salts to aromatic candles, invigorating body scrubs, and restorative herbal teas, every item in the Pure Package collection is thoughtfully curated to promote self-love and growth through holistic self-care practices, with the aim of healing the mind, body, and soul.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been smooth. I’ve faced many battles, but navigating postpartum gave me the strength not only to sit with my emotions but to move through them. This journey allowed me to create products that resonate with those battling postpartum and anyone on a mental health journey.
Culturally, mental health was rarely discussed as I was growing up. I didn’t understand the importance of filling my own cup or the power of sharing my story. Now, I see how empowering it can be to open up and inspire others—you never know who might be touched by your truth.
As a writer, uplifting, inspiring, and encouraging others has always come naturally to me, but I struggled to extend the same compassion to myself. It took significant self-work and confronting my trauma, beyond postpartum struggles, to build my confidence. This process helped me recognize my worth and understand what I truly deserve.

Surround yourself with like-minded individuals—people you can learn from and grow with. When I changed the company I kept, things began to change for me. They say, “If you don’t like the people around you, change the people around you.”
