Community Highlights: Meet Anna Hardy of Stay Golden Collection

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Hardy.

Hi Anna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I first discovered the concept of permanent jewelry years ago when a blogger I followed had a permanent bracelet put on in Paris. I immediately searched to find where I could have something similar done without hopping a plane to Paris and came up short. I’ve always been in love with jewelry, especially jewelry with meaning, and I was captivated by the concept. I’d always wanted to have a business of my own, but the timing or circumstances just hadn’t worked out. Fast forward to the pandemic and me getting laid off from my job and it felt like the stars aligned. I decided it was go time and never looked back!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business of your own, on your own, is challenging and there have definitely been some bumps along the way. Not having a roadmap is difficult, but I enjoy researching and was lucky to have amazing people in my life who served as resources and pointed me in the right direction. I’m far from tech-savvy so figuring out all of those components of the business have been a challenge, but I’ve learned a lot! I also started the business during a pandemic with a one- and three-year-old so balancing my time has been something I’ve had to figure out.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Stay Golden Collection?
Stay Golden Collection is a permanent, claspless jewelry experience. Nine solid 14k gold chains (yellow and white) are offered and can be customized into bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and rings. A gold ring is used to secure the piece in place of a clasp. The ring gets welded shut so that the piece stays on. It’s a lasting piece – something that is meant to be worn for a long time, all of the time! I love how the pieces are dainty, classic, and go with absolutely everything! Having a hospitality background, I love the focus on the experience! I love getting to talk with and hear the stories of the people who get pieces done. It’s something that people can do alone or together with their friends and family to make it even more special. Some of my most favorite pieces I’ve created have been matching family bracelets – something they can always share. You can have a piece created at a pop-up at a local business or a private party.

Pricing:

  • Bracelets $125-145
  • Anklets $165-185
  • Necklaces $260+
  • Rings $50
