Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Jackson Jr.
Hi Robert, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I’m glad you asked! God blessed and continues to bless me in abundance. Since a child, I always love getting dirty, so I set out to become a heavy equipment operator. Everything from skid steers, Ariel lifts, excavators, and finally, my Ultimate Dream, operating Almighty Sky Crane or overhead cranes that go up to 30 tons!
In my past life in my community, I’m known as Superman LOL!!! Well, I am now literally the Man of Steel! I’m employed by one of the world’s largest steel corporations as a crane operator.
Thank you, guys, for reaching out to me, and I am forever grateful for whoever had me on their heart to recommend doing an inspiring anything on me out of anyone thank you. At first, I was using social media to vent about social injustices, and it only created problems for me. I was going through the darkest moments ever in life after my grandmother passed away July 3rd, 2021 at the age of 89. Anastasia Inez Mercer. I turned the reels on Facebook as a coping mechanism and therapy. A real I have posted had over 300 views. So, I kept going. The next video I posted went viral and currently sits at 1.7 million views and Counting. I really cracked my own algorithm and simplified My Life by pursuing everything I truly have a passion for, and it is working for me.
Since September 2022 to the present, I’ve been accepted into two film schools for Accelerated bachelor degree programs and film. As much as I genuinely enjoy being in front of the lens, I absolutely love being behind them and editing. But with success comes barriers. Those programs La Film School doesn’t have housing. Full University located in Winter Park Florida, is my ultimate choice to conclude my educational Journey. Even with the financial aid I have remaining, I was rewarded with; I isn’t enough to cover the entire program. I had to put in a hold because I just can’t up and leave my son Christian age 16, to be there for my boy is so special for me because he’s everything I was when I was his age and the sky’s the limit for him like I tell him all the time you have greatness flowing through your veins and my daughter Azyyah 17 before their mothers, and I send them to college and with that being said, I have unfinished business at home.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I was born in Lincoln Courts located in the West End of downtown Cincinnati. I was the child and literally took a village to raise. My grandmother taught me my first trade’s painting her apartment in Lincoln courts taking apart appliances, and learning circuitry. As I got older, if you can’t clear her agenda, I am forever grateful for her tutelage. And also alienated me from everyone in my age group. Later in my teens, I began running from who I truly am and became rebellious. I finished school only mailed my mother’s side of the family to do so, then began running with the wrong crowds, trying to fit in. Education, skill, and trade, I’ve always been ahead of most in my peer group. It got me in tons of trouble, and eventually got rolled off as a troublemaker. I’ve been my own barrier, afraid of embracing who God created me to be, and that’s a leader of change. I created obstacles trying to be something I wasn’t and prove myself to people that never cared about me.

I’ve been blessed to be in a position to finally live out my lifelong dream of being a crane operator. On the weekends, I’m headed off security at a well-established tavern located right in the heart of Cincinnati. November 2022, I gravitated to social media platforms as a coping mechanism. I became a student at Ohio Media School from December through July 2023 for radio TV broadcast and digital content creation. By the grace of God, I graduated July 27th Against All Odds. During this band, I really challenged myself to be greater than I could imagine, being an inspiration figure not only in my community but to the world. I’m a firm believer of paying it forward being that so many people did the same for me and continue to do so. My job is to be the leader that God created me to be for my community and all the communities.
What am I known for?
I’ve been an athlete my entire life ever since I was a toddler with hands big enough to Palm or softball at the age of one laugh out loud. A lot of people don’t know that baseball was my first sport and being a large gentle giant. All jokes aside boxing, basketball, and baseball he had a huge nerd, a recording artist by the name of Dreamzinati, being a tech kid a Dream Chaser, thus birthing the artist dreams what is he is known for accomplishing. I’m also known in my community to be a servant for the community. One of my goals is with my home improvement business magnificent improvements LLC it should be able to help single-parent mothers or fathers and senior citizens especially needs individuals make improvements in their homes to improve their quality of life. And with that, I would love to do it free of charge just as long as the materials are provided, I will do the work for the people that really deserve the help and my way of giving back and paying it forward.
What am I most proud for? Being a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, confidant, loyal articulate educated less unfortunate to still have my parents around to guide me and continue to help me navigate life as I’ve always tried to figure it out by myself. I’m proud of my son, who just turned 16 named Christian who’s a junior in high school and plays multiple Sports just like I did when I was his age. I’m proud of my daughter Azaya, who is incredibly intelligent and helps whoever she cans and is a nurturer by default it’s in her DNA it runs in her blood. She is in pursuit of a full academic scholarship, and she is very helpful and extremely intelligent, right along with her brother, her little brother Christian I am so proud of the two of those, and they give me the strength and continue going and fighting for them and the generations to come that’s what makes me very proud not my accomplishments. One last thing that I’m proud of is being fortunate enough to work on my public perception and help build my community up one voice at a time.
What sets me apart from others?
I’ve always and will continue to forever be a student of Life full of love comparison loyalty, and being a voice for those that don’t have one better yet, I want to make a major difference and change the Dynamics between law enforcement and higher risk youth and impoverished communities that’s another goal of mine public speaking to the youth that’s it at risk of making detrimental mistakes that can ruin their lives forever or end it.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’ve been a tech kid, a huge nerve my entire life minus my late adult years. I was a huge gamer lol!!! From 8-bit nes, Turbo graphics, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, you name it, I had it; I used to win video game tournaments for Blockbuster Video very long time ago before you Millennials were even thought of laugh out loud. I also was supposed to attend the School of Creative Performing Arts located here in Cincinnati, Ohio. My degree programs I might major then when I was in college at Cincinnati State Computer Network Engineering Technologies from 2002 through 2004 Minneapolis Technical and Community College Homeland Security Specialist 2009 through 2010. Those two-three programs is it the typical programs, guys I’m from wherever I imagine person. I also play high school and college basketball along with the local YMCA basketball league. Those two-degree programs isn’t the typical programs guys, where I’m from, which he is Lincoln Courts 593 Charles Drive is where I was born
