Today we’d like to introduce you to Platinum Twenty Two. 

Hello Platinum Twenty Two, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Platinum Twenty Two started as an idea at our former workplace, as we all worked together. We wanted to create a space where local musicians, artists, fashion designers, and overall creatives in our city can showcase their work. Not only did we want to be advocates for the creative community, we wanted to also assist local businesses with all of their marketing and business consulting needs. The plan was to have our hands in virtually all areas of business, luxury, and multimedia platforms. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely been a journey! In the beginning, a lot of entities either underestimated or took advantage of the fact that we are a group of college-educated, young African-American women. It wasn’t until we proved ourselves with the biggest fashion show of the summer “The Blaque 22”, that people began to really see our potential and the power behind our business. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Platinum Twenty Two is expanding into an inclusive legacy and empire that caters to all aspects of the communities around us. We specialize in making platforms and shining a light on the talent and businesses that our community has to offer while also helping build our community in a variety of ways. We are most proud of sticking to our morals and principles that we were raised on, doing business the right way and chasing our dreams, regardless of the obstacles we face. What sets Platinum Twenty Two apart from others is that we are detail-oriented, driven, and we are focused on putting action behind our words. 

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Platinum Twenty-Two would like everyone to know that “The Blaque 22” fashion show is only the beginning and to be prepared for bigger and better events coming to a community near you! Soon you will see Platinum Twenty-Two on every social media site, billboard, television show and so much more. We want to not only make it known to everyone that we can and will become a household name but become role models for young entrepreneurs trying to establish themselves in the entertainment/arts industry.
