Check Out Nijah Williams’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nijah Williams.

Hi Nijah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A few years ago, I had a very bad skin reaction and nothing was working I decided to research natural and organic ways to clear my skin and they worked, I wanted to share my skin knowledge with the world and start to show people the importance of self-care and healthy self-care methods. I went to school for my aesthetic license and began the wonderful journey of skin care.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming an independent business owner has been a struggle learning the art of running a business marketing and trying to maintain a stable business during Covid has its difficulties for sure. I’m a mother of 6 girls and a grandmother I’m also a college student at UC Clermont earning my degree in child psychology.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work for children’s hospital as a records analyst. I run my own skincare company and spa called skin haven by KoKo LLC

I also run a janitorial company with my significant other, called Just Like New Pro Cleaning Service LLC. We offer second chances to many people who are currently having a hard time finding employment due to their background and more.

What sets me apart from others, is that I’m passionate about everything I do I have built both of my companies from the ground up and with little help. I not only provide a service but I educate my community on the importance of self-care and I also give back to my community.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Being a mother of 6 is hard work but I work hard because of my girls, I lost my mother when I was 27 years old, I left a Domestic violence relationship where I was left with nothing and literally homeless losing everything and my mother at one time with no education or no solid work history I decided to put my hard work and dedication into myself,  I went back to school At Dohn community high school and completed my high school education when there 22 plus program 1st started, I enrolled into college where I earned my 1st degree in business management and started to open many doors for myself. I sent one daughter (my oldest) to college she’s now a student public-school teacher. I’m proud to say I beat every obstacle I faced that was challenging and turn every negative into a positive. My goal for my future is to open a spa that will service all. I am a walking testimony every test I endure is now my testimony.
