Hi Jesse, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Started making music in 2016, got a deal in Chicago, life was great. In 2018 my son got really sick & I had to move back to Cincinnati. In 2019 I was charged with armed robbery & had to serve 5 years in an Indiana prison. In 2024 I got my deal renewed & moved back to Chicago so that’s where I’m at now. I come back to Cincinnati every 2 weeks to record new music. I’ve been telling my story as a series on IG if you’d like to check it out. @jessemichel666
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, I’ve gone through hell over the last half decade, but I’m a better man for it. Prison forced me to become the person I needed to be.

I specialize in relating to all people, not just people similar to me. I think that separates me from a lot of artists.
What matters most to you?
Making a difference. If I end up getting a major deal, I’ll be able to help a lot of people. That’s what I’m most passionate about. That’s what’s been driving me these last 6 months since my release.
I’m going to make sure I get the chance to make that difference…
