Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacob Maher
Hi Jacob , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started taking pictures when I was 14 with a $200 Nikon kit camera and a kit lens. Fast-forward to last summer, my business partner, and I founded THRTEY. A creative agency that crafts intentional, relevant high impact marketing for various brands and companies. From curating Super Bowl LIX creatives to completely rebranding Mom-and-Pop business, we utilize real organic growth to bring awareness to brands.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course not, between balancing college full-time, and trying to grow a business Sam Pakman (Co-founder of THRTEY.) and I have had to make sacrifices in our personal life to make sure that we can grow the company together while being full-time students.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Over the past few years, I specialize in branding and creating unique content for NFL players. Through genuine connection a lot of clients become personal friends and the relationship just grows stronger. Having a close relationship with the clients I work with helps us create genuine content that represents them completely.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
People work with who they like. Networking is the most important part of growing a business and your name in an in industry. You actually have to care about the people you’re working with you can’t just be in it for monetary gain. No money will ever amount to the joy you feel if you’re actually doing something you truly care about.
