Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliah Smith
Hi Eliah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Small city Black America kid, oldest of all my siblings, molded to be great, raised with manners to respect and also gain respect for.& from others. I had to learn a lot of things young do to my mothers young age and her having to do a lot of things for us alone. Not to mention around the time I got to highschool I had ran through about 3-5 jobs and was doing my best to help my sick mother who was diagnosed with chrons disease when I was about 12-13 years old. all my life my mother told me to chase my dreams, to work hard & respect who respects you. Love who loves you genuinely and to never give up on anything I start I think that’s been the basis of my life so far and how it plays into my music now.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Never been a smooth road, nothing about life is smooth but we learn to adapt with whatever vehicle (speaking figuratively) God has given us sometimes people are built ford tough others vehicles break down easily but that’s on you and the maintenance you out into it
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My name is eliah smith I go by the stage name $wayyymunyun outta Cincinnati Ohio I have been making music since I was about 12 years old, now at the age of 26 years of age I never truly took a leap to really try an out myself out there and I truly believe I have what it takes to be artist at the next level and create art that people can listen and watch and feel for years. That’s one of my goals in my music is to be able to change lives and give people a sense of originality and give them a “breath of fresh air” as someone said to me once before I have accomplished about over 65-70,000 streams by myself and no team behind me I believe if I had the right team and people who believed fully and took time to help listen and critique the music with true genuine intentions.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
First I wanna thank the most high for everything I have and everything I am I’m not perfect but he still loves me. I would also like to thank my family for making me into the man I am today, I wanna give thanks to my whole music family and everyone who helps out together all the content I put out and create and all the my homies I look up to that teach me how to move in this game and focus on myself more and love myself more
