Today we’d like to introduce you to Capt. Dab.

Hi Capt., so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I first started into this by becoming a manager to a really crappy artist.

I soon realized that I had a passion for the music scene. Fast forward a little bit and I became a superhero as a marketing gimmick.

Now, I manage 9 artists, throw and host shows, promote for 3 Cleveland, OH Venues, I am a partner/sponsee for a Beard Products company, I have my own Line of hygiene products through them called “The Captain”, I now have a dry rub for wings called “Raspbenero Rain”, and I am a known person within not only the Juggalo Community, but a known person in the NE Ohio music scene.
And and big supporter and advocate for male mental health.
Me and my company: Music Fiends Promotions Agency LLC do whatever it takes to support local artists and the music scene to keep it alive.

I’ve been in magazines, Radio, Podcasts, even in a book!!!
I have done all of this by being a genuine supporter.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been plenty of struggles, Alcohol addiction (now 2.7 years sober), watching my family slowly die off….and more recently having my 1st cousin brutally murdered. She and I were super close. My children have all became pawns for revenge, female stalkers, homelessness,and a whole bunch of drama.

I somehow through God, therapy and the support of my real friends and my team of amazing artists and entrepreneurs have managed to trudge on and keep my eye on the prize despite every heartbreak and loss I have encountered on this journey.
And I still am not finished yet!!!

I am known for being a solid supporter of the music scene, a huge advocate for male mental health awareness.

I have a line of beard products, a dry rub for chicken wings (but goes great on anything).

I specialize in being a real life superhero.
Music promotion, supporting local artists and advocating for male mental health.

I am the most proud of always checking in on folks that are depressed. And I have saved quite a few people from suicide.
I am also proud to inspire a lot of folks with my charitable heart, and the genuine good heart of caring for others.
I get messages weekly from people thanking me for being there for them. Or how I have inspired folks to change their lives or to pay my kindness forward.

What are your plans for the future?
The future holds a mixtape that I am calling “The Purple Strain” it will be Prince samples and will feature only the best artists from around NE OH and a few neighboring states, a few Juggalo Rappers and every artist on my roster here at Music Fiends Promotions Agency LLC.

I plan to go wherever God takes me. I have learned to lean on him and he guides me.

Whatever the future holds is going to be epic!! For the Lord Almighty is riding with me.
