Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Dougherty.
Brandon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Brandon Dougherty. I guess it all started when my friend introduced me to the band Sublime. I was about 12 years old, and I was working as a parachute packer for my family’s Skydiving center. I instantly fell in love with the raw sound of Bradley’s voice mixed with reggae, punk, ska, and hip-hop. It just made sense to me. I started playing guitar that same year. Fast forward 25 years, I am now the singer and guitarist of the band, Indyca.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. Life always has speed bumps and sometimes cliffs. However, the important thing is that you just keep pushing. If it was easy, anyone would do it.
