Amber, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Thank you for reaching out! MojoFlo formed as a group of musicians on a quest with one goal; to spread positive vibes and feel-good energy through music. We have built our amazing, loyal following by independently recording and releasing original music and touring / performing incessantly, bringing the MojoFlo experience far and wide.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Maintaining an independent music career is not for the faint at heart. We have faced a variety of adversities from literal tornados to figurative sh*t storms. Through the years we have learned to stay strong and persevere. Despite the challenges, we stayed focused on the Funk, maintaining our dedication to our craft and our purpose. We know firsthand the power of music and its ability to bring light to the darkness!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
To experience a MojoFlo show is to be transported through time and space to a place where the music frees you and the collective needs you. Community is the hallmark of any live MojoFlo performance. Whether it be singing along to original MojoFlo tunes or dancing with newfound friends MojoFlo keeps audiences captivated from the first chord.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Bringing people together through music matters most to us. We all share more similarities than differences and if we can dance together, we can make it together!
