Check Out Alla Ryan’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alla Ryan.

Hi Alla, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a Ukrainian girl who followed her heart all the way to the United States. I came here to be with my husband, Matt Ryan — who was my boyfriend at the time — and together we’ve built a beautiful life and family. My son Max, from a previous marriage, came with me on this journey, and since then, Matt and I have grown our family with two more amazing little ones — our daughter Emmalyn, who’s 5, and our son Marcus, who’s 3. We’re now a happy family of five, plus a dog and a cat, and I truly feel like love brought me here and continues to guide everything I do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, the road definitely hasn’t been smooth. One of the biggest obstacles for me was the language barrier. Coming from Ukraine, English was completely new to me, and learning how to communicate — especially while building a new life — was incredibly challenging. On top of that, I had to adjust to a completely new culture. I quickly realized that people live, think, and communicate in very different ways here. It took time to expand my perspective and truly adapt.

Another big challenge was being apart from my family — especially my sister. She’s the only close family member I have left in Ukraine, since both of our parents have passed away. Being separated from her has been one of the hardest emotional challenges. But looking back, I realize that all of these obstacles have shaped me into the woman I am today stronger, more compassionate, and deeply grateful for the life I’ve built.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
“Right now, I’m a stay-at-home mom and wife, and my main focus is raising our kids, supporting my husband, and creating a warm, emotionally healthy home. I care deeply about the atmosphere in our house — the energy, the love, the sense of peace — that’s my everyday work.

Before this chapter, I owned a beauty salon, which I closed when I became a mother. Many also know me from 90 Day Fiancé, Season 4 — a big part of my journey.

What I’m most proud of is the woman I’ve become: someone who lives with intention, follows her heart, and keeps growing. What sets me apart is my sincerity, my genuineness, and the love I bring into everything I do.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is the power of following my heart and staying true to myself. It’s so easy to get caught up in what others expect or to compare yourself to others, but I’ve learned that real happiness comes from embracing who I truly am. Whether it’s in my personal life, with my family, or in the way I approach challenges, staying authentic to my values and listening to my intuition has been key to finding peace and fulfillment.
