We’re looking forward to introducing you to Charli Terry. Check out our conversation below.
Charli, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Who are you learning from right now?
As cliche as it sounds, I’m learning from myself. I’ve always documented my life from the moment I could write, so as I’m reflecting on my past experiences I’m relearning things I’ve kind of pacified along the way. So I’m regaining the hard earned wisdom I’ve learned and going through a period of readjustment.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Charli, also known as Chuck. I am a visionary. A creator. An artist. A business woman. Most importantly I’m a girl from the city of Cleveland!
I am the founder and CEO an entertainment and media platform called Billionaire Boss Media. Founded in 2022, I’ve done events and promoted media in Virginia, California, and Ohio.
Currently I’m working on building my music, and framing my plans for 2026.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
As I’ve gotten older I see how different we actually are. We come from different places, we’re raised differently no matter what neighborhood or school we go to.
The relationships we have with one another have several commonalities. At the end of the day for me, I think bonds between everyone boils down to character and heart posture. Who are you at the end of the day? When we figure that out that’s usually what makes or breaks us.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. I just turned thirty this year. While most people dread thirty I figured that it was a year of a renaissance. A turning point. I found myself trying to forge my next steps: Do I keep pursuing this dream of mine or do I settle into life?
This year hasn’t been my most productive, and I’ve hit a lot of personal goals for sure. However, I noticed my grind slowed down. I had to have a meditative break and ask myself “Are you done”? Of course the answer is “hell no”. Ha!
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of myself is as real as I am. I may not expose everything because I’m very private, but I make sure I’m transparent and who I display myself as aligns with my truth.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If immortality were real, what would you build?
If immortality was real I would be Queen of the free world.
I believe in better education for inner city kids. I believe in artistic freedom. I believe in generational wealth for everyone, and creating power for the lower class. Most importantly I believe in mental and spiritual wellness.
So if I could build anything it would be pathways for those who need those things, to make a way to get it.
