Today we’d like to introduce you to Temperrence Grant.
Hi Temperrence, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my business officially in 2020, two of my daughter’s lost their father, and I had to make sure that I was mentally and physically able to help them and be there for them all while still being able to generate income. So, I applied for my LLC, and in 2021, I applied for my ein to make me eligible to employ staff. Now almost a year later, the road has been rough trying to get myself out there to obtain a consistent client base.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been easy; I had to get a part-time job to make sure I would be able to continue to provide for my children. This event decorating field is rough.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Myesha’s Delight’s?
I am a local event decorator and treat maker; I also make T-shirts and customize wine glasses, and offer customized party favors. I love making treats such as chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate-covered pretzels, candied grapes, caramel apples, etc. I would say the thing that sets me apart is from my personal experience I’ve had with small business owners is the communication; I continue to be professional and proactive at all times.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
I honestly don’t get off into much of anything besides continuing to share my business and postings on social media!
