Meet Kenneth Redd of K Redd Signature Apparel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Redd. 

Hi Kenneth, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started off as a graphic design T-Shirt maker. As a rapper by the stage name Coach Chronic, I made a song called I Ain’t got it, and created a T-shirt to sale along as merch. Needless to say, the T-shirt was a success. I then began putting different quotes and designs on T-shirts that sold well. The problem was that no one knew exactly who made the shirts. So, to tie them all together I began what is now known as K. Redd Signature Apparel. Now, not only do I still make graphic Tees, I also have leisure, fitness, luxury, outer wear, and even doggy wear. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles I face are lack of funding, lack of help, and language barriers to name a few. Also, having a clothing brand itself is a struggle being that brands are an acquired taste. when you’re a small name brand people tend to overlook you for the bigger names. 

We’ve been impressed with K Redd Signature Apparel, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
K.Redd Signature Apparel was originally designed to make a bold statement that allows each customer to express themselves without having to speak a word. We were established in May 2017! We originated with our I AINT GOT IT, GRIND, and The T.H.O.T. Project graphic t-shirts and hoodies.

That’s our purpose! 

Our mission is to provide a place where our customers can have fun with expressing their truth with our apparel at a reasonable price. 

I AINT GOT IT isn’t a statement nor claim of being broke, it simply means I don’t have it to give to you. 

GRIND In all walks of life one should know…. B4 you shine, you gots to GRIND! 

T.H.O.T. Project The Thoroughly Honest & Overtly Transparent Project was my wonderful idea on how to get people to be authentic with who they truly are, besides the world would be a much better place if everyone was a T.H.O.T.! 

The K. Redd Signature Apparel journey continues as we are excited to introduce new vibrant apparel for our customers.

Business-wise, I’d have to say the quality of my products. I love when people brag to me how my quality is just as good if not better than the major brands.
