Today we’d like to introduce you to Teighlor Campbell.
Hi Teighlor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started doing makeup as a career shortly after graduating high school. I knew that I wanted to be in the beauty industry so I always kept a job in cosmetic retail and also assisting another MUA here in Cincinnati! After a few years of assisting, I started branching off on my own to become a full-time makeup artist. Honestly, I believe this is one of best decisions I have made for myself. I was always scared to take the leap, I guess you can say I was comfortable where I was at until one day, I just wanted a change. I would advise for anyone to take that leap you’ll never know the outcome unless you do it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve definitely had some hardships throughout my journey. I moved to another city where I felt I was unappreciated in my job and had to make a big decision whether to stay or leave. Once I moved back home, I was determined to do makeup more now than ever. I knew the journey wasn’t going to be easy but I didn’t take “no” or “give up” as an answer.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a makeup artist and I specialize in bridal, editorial, and soft glam makeup artistry. My brand name is Teighlormade. My real name is Teighlor (Taylor). My name is so unique I knew I wanted to incorporate that into my brand. I believe my brand is different from a lot of others. I create a tailored experience for all of my clients. I have many different personalities coming to sit in my chair from the shy ones that don’t like to talk to the ones that want to be heard and tell their stories. I make sure to accommodate all of my clients and communicate with them to give them THE BEST EXPERIENCE!

Something most people do not know about me is that I have experience working under a celebrity makeup artist. I’ve had the opportunity to be on set with some of the hottest female artists in the game and experiencing being on set with some of the stars from your favorite reality tv shows!
