Inspiring Conversations with Miranda Jiggins of Goals

Today we’d like to introduce you to Miranda Jiggins.

Hi Miranda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started in late middle school / early high school! I was bullied / “that girl” in school – super quiet, awkward, shy, didn’t eat lunch in the school cafeteria junior or senior year, and did not go to prom. I always wanted to fit in, but never found my place, which made school very challenging mentally. I found fitness when I was 16, and it became a mental release.

However, during the hard days of school, I always knew deep down I was destined for more – I knew I was going to impact lives and I wanted to run a business. I had no idea what or how, but, that feeling is the only thing that kept me going.

Due to what happened in high school, it led to serious mental health and confidence issues, which I buried in work. and was very proud of it. After college, I met my mentor, Betsy McNally, who helped me get started with my fitness business.

With her help, I grew my business, left my job, and was able to become fully self-employed. As much as I love what I do, I buried myself in work – I went four and a half YEARS without taking a day off! Yes, I worked every day for four and a half years, including holidays – and loved it. It was my crown. Crazy! I am also a competitive bodybuilder, so, I was putting in 15–20-hour days every day. Those hours are not conducive for long-term success at all.

January of 2021, I had another rock bottom moment. I felt very stuck, lost, and defeated – I found my coach, Stacy Raske, signed up for her program, and have never looked back.

The first four months with Stacy were deep inner work – I had a ton of issues to work through. I learned that I am an extremely high performer, how to manage myself, boundaries, fears, and so much more. I am a totally different person due to my inner work journey. This has resulted in massive shifts both in my business and personal life.

I now help others with their inner work journeys using fitness as a tool, and have created events, which I am SO excited for! All it takes is one person to make an impact on your life, and I am determined to help others elevate their lives through as many different platforms as I can.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road! However, I have learned to love the bumpy road, as I fully believe we grow through challenges.

My biggest struggle has been working through myself and learning how to manage myself. I never would have considered myself a high performer before my inner work journey, and, I learned that I was an “off the charts” high performer!

If I never learned how to manage myself and work through my mentality/confidence issues, my business would never be where it is today. This is why I am so passionate about helping people learn how to manage themselves, so, we can fully show up and serve others at our highest power.

Another struggle has been financial – I never took out a loan to pay for anything for my business until 2021 to pay for my coaching (four years in). I have also had a huge scarcity mindset around money (deep childhood learning/belief) that I have really had to work through. My #1 fear was to have to run all of my bank accounts to $0.

Ryan Stewman, the leader of Apex, a business mastermind program I am in, preaches that you will need to run your accounts to $0. My biggest fear! That stressful situation did happen a few months ago, but it made me level up as a leader and think of solutions in different ways. It was a blessing for me and my business in disguise!

Now that I have been through that, I feel like I can take on anything!

As you know, we’re big fans of Goals LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a 28-year-old female entrepreneur that owns a fitness business, that is transitioning into the events space in addition to my programs!

I am known for my energy! My light shines really bright, so, it is my passion to be that light in someone else’s life, and help them elevate in all aspects of life. The way my clients feel after being in “the energy” is what I am most proud of for my brand – our community and what we have built is so special.

My Transform You program combines inner work and fitness for a total lifestyle change – it is so incredibly special, and my group of women are incredible.

My program is 100% custom to the client and very accountability heavy from a holistic perspective – we work on boundaries, fears, fitness, nutrition, routines, and we make a plan together where it fits into your lifestyle. Everyone is different, that’s why I create a custom plan for each person!

I have also created The M Event, starting this year; a place for people who have been on an inner work journey, or are going on an inner work journey, to come, collaborate, and feel as if they can take on the world after they leave!

So far, we have launched two national and one international M Events, with the first one in Cincinnati November 2022!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
The nature, culture, and people are my favorite things about our city! I have created so many amazing relationships here – I am so blessed! Like the least – hmm, we could always have more doughnut shops LOL I love doughnuts!
