Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Keene.
Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I spent many years in the kitchen cooking with my grandmother. When I had my first child, Cruz, I started to prepare meals for him that were healthy and fun for him to eat. When he started kindergarten, I started packing his lunch every day. Each year I’ve gotten more creative with his lunches and it truly makes his day. My son is now in 3rd grade and I still pack his lunch. His school lunches have gone viral worldwide. My lunches have been featured in the daily mail, the Sun, the mirror, fox, NY Post, Insider, fox 8 news, wkyc, it’s on-site, and the shade room. I started selling cute lunchbox items for kid’s lunches and lunchbox jokes and affirmations.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle I would say is social media and the nasty comments you receive from people that don’t agree on what my child should or shouldn’t be eating.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I run a small business selling lunchbox items, lunchbox notes, cookbooks, and more. I create content on my social media making lunches and meals for my family each day. I’m known for my creativity in the kitchen and my unique recipes and school lunches. I’m a publish cookbook author. My cookbook is called Cooking at Tiffany’s. My cookbook features simple recipes for everyday life. I’m most proud of the community that I’ve built from cooking and the people that I’ve inspired to make healthy creative meals for their families. I specialize in cooking and being an all-around super mom.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My grandmother, Luvenia Avant deserves credit for teaching me how to cook and inspiring me. My mother, Denise Morris for the many sacrifices, love and support. My brother, Tim Avant for his creativity, genius ideas and support. My husband, Nathan Keene for always being my #1 supporter and the best partner I could ever ask for. He inspires me, motivates me, and supports me. My son Cruz Harper for being my inspiration and enjoying the love of food and cooking with me.
