Inspiring Conversations with Aneta Ardelian Kuzma of Ardelian Kuzma Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aneta Ardelian Kuzma.

Hi Aneta, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Aneta I started my coaching and wellness consulting business in January of 2019. My path to where I am today was not a linear line, as our life journeys rarely are.

I followed a traditional route for most of my life – college, marriage, children, and working in the corporate world for 25 years. To maintain the pace of a demanding job, raising children, and going to graduate school, I practiced yoga, breathwork, and meditation daily to keep me sane and avoid burnout.

In 2017, I hired an executive coach to help me define what the next chapter of my life would be. We had one daughter in college and the other shortly behind, so I saw this as the perfect window to focus on what I wanted to do next.

I fell in love with the coaching process – being introspective and even writing my life vision. I found myself challenged to take risks, to go beyond my comfort zone, and to be courageous in ways I haven’t before. For the first time in my life, I had tremendous clarity about what I wanted, and what I didn’t want.

Two years after I wrote my vision statement, in January of 2019, I left my corporate job and started my coaching and consulting business. I became certified as a yoga and meditation teacher and certified as an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach, Life Coach, and Executive Coach.

Then in 2020, the pandemic hit and I pivoted my new business. I recognized that wellness, and especially mental health was going to be a large part of my business. I moved my coaching and yoga classes to Zoom, started a virtual daily meditation group, and created wellness programs for organizations.

I just celebrated my 3rd business anniversary in January, and LOVE what I do.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenge was pivoting so soon after I started my business. I was at a conference in Florida in March the weekend before everything shut down due to COVID. I had just spent 3 days building out my strategic plan for 2020+ and then had to flex quickly.

My instinct was to ask myself how I could serve. A week after we locked down, I started my morning meditation group. I wasn’t charging anything for the class, but I remember worrying that no one would show up. That first day we had 7 people join, then they invited others, then they asked for me to teach on the weekends, also. I did that for 6 weeks and asked the group if they wanted to continue as a paid program, and they did. The group still meets daily, almost 2 years later.

I also knew that employees were struggling with disrupted routines, homeschooling their children, and anxiety about not knowing how long the pandemic would last. I built a corporate wellness webinar that I delivered virtually focused on creating healthy routines and leveraging mindfulness to reduce stress and anxiety. I’ve been fortunate to continue to work with many of those organizations with ongoing wellness programs.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am multi-passionate coach, consultant, and teacher who helps high-achieving professionals and entrepreneurs who want to live full lives of purpose, passion, and peace. I believe that we cannot compartmentalize ourselves, and should approach coaching from a holistic perspective. It was important to me to be certified in multiple coaching disciplines so I can help my clients with all of their coaching needs.

I’ve found that many of us are overwhelmed by the pace of life, are seeking to overcome our limiting beliefs that keep us stuck, and are looking for tools to deal with stress, anxiety, and burnout.

We want to become the healthiest versions of ourselves, spending time with the people we care about and doing the things that we love. And, we still tend to make the same choices over and over again that keep us stuck.

I help my clients invest in themselves, take control of their health and wellbeing, and finally make changes that allow them to become the best version of themselves in their personal and professional lives.

As a business consultant, I work with organizations and teams to create cultures of mindful leadership to increase focus, creativity, and productivity, along with wellness programs to help teams achieve optimal health.

– I take a holistic approach to coaching and consulting:

– I believe that each of us has unique talents and dreams that we are meant to nurture and share.

– Many of us place our own needs last and don’t make the investment in ourselves.

– As a result, we find ourselves burned out, unhealthy, having lost our zest for life, and not living our best lives.

I partner with my clients so they can find their purpose, make life changes, develop wellness practices and programs to reduce stress and burnout and make health and nutritional changes to improve overall wellness.

Leveraging years of business experience, I also provide business consulting to organizations to help identify their target clients, facilitate their strategic planning, and create a culture of mindfulness and wellness to drive employee engagement, reduce burnout in their employees, and increase innovation.

I offer:

– 1 on 1 coaching (Life, Executive, Health & Wellness, Business)

– Group coaching programs

– Wellness consulting

– Yoga classes

– Meditation classes

My community feels like a family and have supported each other.
