Hi Sarde, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi. I’m Sarde the owner of pleasant picnic where I provide luxury pop-up picnics for all occasion in northeast, Ohio.

In April of 2021, I celebrate my 4th year wedding anniversary with an indoor picnic/movie night with a charcuteire board for my husband after realizing that a stress-free date is much needed for my husband and I and so many other couples after this stressful year in pandemic. I decide to make it a business and provide a luxury picnic date service.

The next date I search on Pinterest for a few ideas for décor I heading off to the store for décor and supplies. I came home set up a mock picnic on my back deck, took a few pictures made an Instagram and tiktok providing my service I got my business logistics in order and that’s when pleasant picnic was born.

I provided my services to a few friends and family to get their feedback and I was surprised by their feedback on how much they loved the experience that I knew that pleasant picnic was off to a good start. After a few weeks went pass I knew I needed to make this more official so I made a Tiktok promo video and I use those social media platforms to tell the world about my business. After I went viral a few times I was featured on two of my local new channels. I’ve done over 100 picnics, events, babyshowers, gender reveals, birthdays, etc. With an addition to pleasant picnic I started luxury flower boxes and I open an indoor Picnic Studio to have picnics all year long our indoor picnic studio is great to have photoshoots and Inmate datenight outside of your home or at a local park.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a picnic planner has been an amazing journey. I have been a part of so many special moments and occasions. I just can wait to be a part of so many other moments in people lives. Being a Picnic Planner and now a Florist, I have a few upcoming wedding making bridal bouquets and Wedding décor and Centerpieces
