Hi Destiny, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Pretty Intoxicologist started unexpectedly in 2022. At the time, I was heavily into hosting events, and creating memorable girls’ nights and parties for my friends and family. It all began as a joke between my old friends, who would always tell me how good I was at creating experiences, mixing drinks, and bringing people together. What started as laughter and casual conversations eventually turned into something much bigger. By the grace of God, that small idea grew into Pretty Intoxicologist, a business built from passion, creativity, and dedication. I took a leap of faith and turned what I loved doing into a brand and experience that people could enjoy for their special events.
Today, I am proud to have built and sustained this business on my own. None of it would be possible without the support of my clients, family, friends, and everyone who believed in my vision from the very beginning. Their continued support has allowed me to grow, learn, and create unforgettable experiences one event at a time. Pretty Intoxicologist is more than a mobile beverage experience, it’s a reflection of my passion for bringing people together, creating beautiful moments, and mixing beauty in every sip!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges I faced was learning how to market myself and put myself out there, especially without having a consistent clientele in the beginning. There were times when I felt like I was constantly asking and begging people to repost my content, share my business, or simply support what I was building. It could be discouraging, and at times I was afraid of rejection. I also struggled with self-doubt. I often felt like my business wasn’t good enough or that I wasn’t doing enough. I was my own biggest critic and rarely gave myself credit for how far I had come. Instead of celebrating my accomplishments, I was always focused on what I thought I should be doing better.
Looking back, I realize that growth takes time. Building a business from the ground up isn’t easy, and success doesn’t happen overnight. Every challenge, setback, and moment of uncertainty helped shape me into the business owner I am today. While the journey hasn’t been perfect, it has taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of believing in myself even when things felt difficult.

I focus on more than just serving drinks, I create an experience. From the presentation and aesthetics to the personalized service, every detail is thoughtfully curated to make each event feel special and memorable.

I’m known for my creativity, attention to detail, exceptional customer service, and ability to create a fun, fun vibe personality where people can celebrate and connect.

What Am I Most Proud Of?
I’m most proud of building Pretty Intoxicologist from the ground up on my own. What started as a passion turned into a thriving business through hard work, faith, and the continued support of my clients. Being able to turn my vision into reality and watch it grow is my greatest accomplishment.
