Hi Tia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey has been filled with both challenges and victories. For much of my life, I doubted my own talents and creativity. It wasn’t until I left home for college that I truly began to embrace my creative abilities and step into my purpose.

During that time, I started exploring entrepreneurship and launched several business ventures. Not all of them were successful—I tried selling hair, clothing, and purses, but those ventures taught me valuable lessons about business, resilience, and finding the right fit.

Through trial and error, I eventually discovered my passion and niche in event planning and creative consulting. What began as a search for my place in the business world evolved into a career where I could combine creativity, strategy, and problem-solving to help bring ideas to life.

Every setback became a learning opportunity, and every experience helped shape the creative consultant I am today. My story is a testament to the power of persistence, self-discovery, and believing in your vision even when the path isn’t always clear.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been smooth sailing for me. One of the biggest challenges I have faced is continuing to push forward during times when I didn’t feel supported or understood. There were moments when I questioned myself, my vision, and whether I was on the right path. However, those experiences taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of believing in myself even when others didn’t.

Building a career as a Creative Consultant required me to trust my instincts, stay committed to my goals, and keep going despite setbacks and uncertainty. Each obstacle strengthened my confidence and reinforced my passion for helping others bring their ideas to life. Today, I view those challenges not as roadblocks, but as stepping stones that helped shape the entrepreneur and creative professional I have become.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In addition to being an entrepreneur, I hold multiple degrees and have built a successful career in talent acquisition and recruiting. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to positively impact people’s lives by helping them advance and elevate their careers.

I believe that every individual brings unique talents, experiences, and skills to the table. Rather than viewing people as just another client or number, I take the time to understand their goals, recognize their strengths, and help connect them with opportunities that align with their potential. My passion for helping others succeed is at the heart of everything I do, and I am proud to play a role in empowering individuals to reach the next level in their professional journeys.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always curious and eager to learn. I enjoyed discovering new things, asking questions, and exploring different ideas and opportunities. While I was extremely shy as a child, my curiosity often pushed me outside of my comfort zone and encouraged me to keep growing.

Over the years, I have developed a greater sense of confidence in myself and my abilities. Each experience, challenge, and accomplishment has helped me become more comfortable stepping into leadership roles, building meaningful connections, and pursuing my passions. The transformation from a shy child to a confident entrepreneur, creative consultant, and talent acquisition professional has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
