As a 16-year-old boy being forced to live on the streets of Columbus, OH, I was left with little money. My brother and I decided to rent a carpet cleaner and we went door to door asking folks if we could clean their carpets. Later, I met my wife, Debbie, and we have been cleaning carpets off and on ever since.

Since the starting of our business, we’ve been committed to providing service of the highest quality, paying particular attention to working efficiently while keeping the lines of communication with our clients clear and concise.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
“The greatest obstacle I ever faced was overcoming youth homelessness. At 16, my brother and I found ourselves on the streets of Columbus due to family trauma. Driven by necessity, we turned to pure entrepreneurship to survive. We knocked on doors for work, borrowed a client’s 24-hour rental carpet cleaner, and went door-to-door cleaning carpets to earn enough cash for shelter. That survival mindset shaped everything. At 18, I relocated to Cincinnati for a fresh start, where I met my wife of now 44 years. Though navigating financial scarcity has been a continuous hurdle, that early trial instilled an unshakeable work ethic and resilience in me.”
