Hidden Gems: Meet Jessica Rosser of Bridal Bliss by Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Rosser.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I really grew up in the wedding industry. I started as a coat check attendant, then worked as a server and bartender at weddings, and I’ve personally been in countless weddings over the years. Those experiences gave me a front-row seat to what makes a wedding successful and where couples often need support.

I’ve always been extremely detail-oriented and I love planning, organization, and building timelines. Eventually, I realized I could combine my passion for weddings with the experience I had gained and create something of my own. That’s when I took the leap and launched Bridal Bliss by Design. Today, I help couples navigate the planning process and create a seamless, stress-free wedding day tailored to their unique needs.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. I launched Bridal Bliss by Design right before the pandemic, so I was immediately faced with challenges that no one could have predicted. I had to help couples postpone weddings, adjust guest counts, rethink plans, and find creative alternatives while still delivering the experience they envisioned. It taught me how to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and stay solution-focused under pressure. Those challenges ultimately made me a stronger planner and business owner.

We’ve been impressed with Bridal Bliss by Design, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bridal Bliss by Design is a wedding planning and coordination business that helps couples enjoy the planning process and actually be present on their wedding day. I offer day-of coordination, month-of coordination, full-service planning, and officiating, allowing me to support couples wherever they are in their planning journey.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each couple’s personality and needs. Some of my clients are extremely organized, detail-oriented planners who want someone to execute their vision flawlessly. Others feel overwhelmed and need more guidance, reassurance, and hands-on support throughout the process. I can seamlessly work with both.
I’m known for being highly organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and being your “Bridal Bestie” on the biggest day of your life. I love timelines, logistics, and all of the behind-the-scenes details that make an event run smoothly, but I also understand that weddings are emotional and deeply personal. My goal is to make couples feel supported, heard, and confident from start to finish.
At the end of the day, I want my clients to be able to fully enjoy their engagement and wedding day, knowing someone they trust is handling every detail from planning to officiating. That’s really the heart of Bridal Bliss by Design.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Cleveland is the sense of community. People genuinely support local businesses, show up for one another, and take pride in where they live. I also love that we have so much to offer-from Lake Erie and the Metroparks to incredible restaurants, sporting events, and a thriving wedding industry. It has all the amenities of a larger city while still feeling approachable and connected.

If I had to pick one thing I like the least, it would probably be the long winters and the gray skies. By February, I’m definitely ready for sunshine and patio season. That said, I think it makes us appreciate our beautiful summers even more!
