Community Highlights: Meet Sue Lehman of Keep It Simple with Sue, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sue Lehman.

Hi Sue , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am #2 of 6 girls, so I’m used to being second in charge in a supporting role. I worked full time while in undergrad and law school and worked as an attorney for 24 years before retiring. Inspiration hit me while in a group coaching program to figure out what I was going to do next and I opened my virtual assistant business in 2023. I provide supportive administrative services to female entrepreneurs because we are the ones who usually need the most help and are also the ones who are the last to ask for it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth-no, but that’s what makes it rewarding and fun. Struggles included figuring out my niche, my messaging and how to market myself in a way that felt authentic. I’ve stumbled a bit along the way, but I’ve learned so much that has been useful to me and to my clients.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I provide administrative support, which includes:

1. Email/calendar management
2. Email campaigns
3. Landing pages
4. Research and reports
5. Social media posting
6. Bookkeeping

I specialize in really learning who my clients are, what their businesses are and crafting ways to help them grow their businesses. My integrity is huge for me, so I strive to always provide the best service I can.

I offer 3 different packages:

1. A small project package: 10 service hours for a quick, simple project.

2. Uplevel Your Business: 30 service hours for ongoing support over a 3-month period

3. Momentum Management: 60 service hours for ongoing support over a 6-month period

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I am a huge fan of Jen Sincero, author of the “You Are a Badass” series. I also have to give a shoutout to my coach, Tracy Baranauskas of Moving Forward Life Coaching. Without Jen, there’d be no Keep It Simple with Sue. Without Tracy, Keep It Simple with Sue might not be growing and I wouldn’t be building my dream house.
