Check Out Joshua Haskins’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Haskins.

Hi Joshua, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Before moving to Columbus, I was born and raised in Rochester New York. I went to college at Buffalo State and lived in Buffalo (Go Bills) for several years where I developed a passion for fitness. I moved back to Rochester where I started a career in athletic training. I met my now wife in 2011 and started a business in gym industry. In 2016 my brother decided to move to Columbus Ohio to open up a Local Geico Office and asked me to be his office manager and change careers. After talking with my wife, we decided it was a great opportunity and decided to move. While working in my brothers office I had the opportunity to branch off and open my own Geico Local Office in Grove City. We have been open since 2021 and its been the best decision we have made.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening in 2021 was a struggle, dealing with the after math of 2020. So I’d say it was a rough rode in the beginning, but I have an outstanding staff led by Mckenzie (Office Manager) who helped us get back on track sooner than later. The past years have been great!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are a small, locally owned insurance office operating under Haskins Agency LLC, and we exclusively sell GEICO products. Our team, Katie and April, puts a strong emphasis on customer experience and building relationships, which has earned us top-tier Google reviews and recognition as one of the top 50 GEICO local offices in the country.
