Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan & Mackenzie Reed.
Hi Ryan & Mackenzie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
All In Auto Service began with a dream that had been years in the making.
For over 20 years, Ryan worked as an automotive technician, steadily building his skills, reputation, and even collecting tools with the quiet hope that one day those tools would be in a shop of our own. Before we opened, he told me something I’ll never forget: if he didn’t try, he knew he would regret it. I believed in him fully, and together we decided to take the leap.
As a husband-and-wife team, we built this business from the ground up with the support of family, friends, and a shared vision to create something different—an honest, customer-service-first alternative to the typical dealership experience.
The name All In Auto became especially meaningful because it reflected the decision we made as a family: we were going all in on this dream. Even our kids are part of that journey, bought into what we’re building and growing alongside us.
After opening in 2024, we quickly aligned with Shop Fix Academy, whose coaching and systems helped us scale into what we are today. What started as one family’s leap of faith has become a trusted shop rooted in transparency, quality repairs, and genuine care for our customers and community.
We wanted to create a different kind of repair shop: an honest, customer-service-first alternative to the typical dealership experience. A place where people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident that their vehicle is in trustworthy hands.
What started as just the two of us and a dream has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of—a family-built business rooted in transparency, quality, and genuine care for our community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow a business while still protecting our family and our marriage.
As husband and wife, the lines between work and home can easily blur. Conversations about staffing, finances, customer concerns, or shop problems don’t always stay at the shop—they can follow us to the dinner table, into late nights at home, and sometimes even into the little moments that should be reserved for our family.
At the same time, we are raising four children who still need present, engaged parents. Balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with school events, sports, homework, and simply being emotionally available for our kids has been one of the hardest parts of this journey. There have been seasons where it felt like we were being pulled in every direction, trying to give our best to the business without taking too much away from our home.
Working so closely together has also challenged us to grow as a couple. We have had to learn how to communicate differently, respect each other’s strengths, define our roles, and make space for each other beyond the business. Some days that balance is harder than others, but it has taught us resilience, patience, and how to stay united even under pressure.
In many ways, the business has grown our family as much as our family has grown the business. The struggle has been finding harmony between the two, and that continues to be one of the most meaningful lessons of this journey.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about All In Auto Service LLC?
All In Auto Service is a family-owned automotive repair shop built on honesty, transparency, and a true customer-first experience.
We provide full-service automotive repair and maintenance, from diagnostics and routine services to major engine, suspension, brake, A/C, and fleet work. What we are most known for is combining high-level technical expertise with a level of customer care that people don’t always expect from the automotive industry.
With Ryan’s more than 20 years of experience as a technician and our team’s commitment to doing things the right way, we have created an alternative to the typical dealership or impersonal repair-shop experience. Our goal has always been to make customers feel informed, respected, and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Whether that means clear communication, honest recommendations, a welcoming waiting room with snacks and drinks, or simply taking the time to educate customers on their vehicle, we want people to feel taken care of.
What truly sets us apart is that our brand is built around trust and family values. We are not just fixing cars—we are serving families, helping people stay safe on the road, and creating long-term relationships with our community. That same family-first mindset extends to our team culture as well, where we focus on growth, leadership, and creating opportunities for the people who work with us.
Brand-wise, what we are most proud of is that All In genuinely reflects who we are. We went all in on this dream as a husband-and-wife team, and that same commitment shows in every repair, every customer interaction, and every decision we make. Our readers should know that when they choose All In Auto Service, they are choosing a shop that values people just as much as vehicles.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The best way people can support All In Auto Service is by trusting us with their vehicles and allowing us to serve their families.
Whether it’s routine maintenance, diagnostics, major repairs, fleet service, or simply coming to us for an honest second opinion, every customer who chooses to work with us is directly supporting a local family-owned business and the team we are building here in our community.
Collaboration is also something we are passionate about. We love partnering with local businesses, fleet companies, schools, sports teams, community events, and organizations that share a heart for serving people well. Whether it’s sponsorship opportunities, community give-back initiatives, employee vehicle care partnerships, or fleet maintenance relationships, we are always open to building meaningful local connections.
One of the most impactful ways to support us is through word of mouth—sharing your experience, leaving a review, recommending us to friends and family, or simply telling others about the kind of service you received. For a small business, that trust and referral means everything.
At the heart of our brand is community, so if someone wants to work with us, support us, or collaborate, we would love the opportunity to connect and grow together.
