Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Hicks.

Hi Stephanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have had a passion for photography most of my life. On Christmas when I was 12 years old I was gifted a DSLR camera and that’s when it all clicked for me, this is what I was made to do. I started my business at only 20 years old photographing families. But later learned that boudoir was where I was meant to be. I love helping ladies reconnect with their bodies and learn to relove themselves. Healing other ladies has made such a huge impact on me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has been amazing , of course curveballs are normal in business. I think my biggest curveball has been learning to put myself out there and never stop spreading the word about who I am and what I do

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’ve learned how rewarding it is to hype up other women and truly show ladies just how amazing they are. Society has some pretty harsh standards and I am here to make a statement that society can kick rocks! We are all beautiful in our own ways and it’s time to show that and prove everyone wrong! As a boudoir photographer, I take my job very seriously. We are here to be the ones to help ladies out of so many different scenarios and become not only a counselor at times but someone here to prove to them that their battles don’t define them.

What sets me apart from others is, I spent so much time truly getting to know my clients on a personal level. I want my ladies to be as comfortable as possible. Boudoir sessions can be hard to do and I am here to help ease you through the entire process from start to finish

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am a pretty open book, so there isn’t much people don’t know about me. I’d have to say that 80% of my time thinking about my next steps in my business.
