Inspiring Conversations with Jim Wendle of JW Property Inspection LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jim Wendle.

Hi Jim, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Engineering and Construction professional. Learned the business in a construction trailer. Rose to a President for two companies one private and one public. Retired from the corporate world and started a home and commercial inspection business in 2016. I operate JW Property Inspection LLC. Transitioned in expert witness cases in the engineering and construction sector. I enjoy working in the inspection and expert witness business. Do not have any plans to retire. I like what i do and i like helping customers.
I have 3 daughters and a granddaughter which I see often. I am an avid golfer as I spend my time in West Chester and Fort Meyers Florida.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life has been good for the most part. There are always challenges in life. I believe that a positive mental attitude and a belief in something greater than yourself gets you through the troughs. I am a grateful man. Grateful for what I have and work hard to keep it. I like to help others who are willing to help themselves.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about JW Property Inspection LLC?
I started JW Property Inspection LLC as a sole proprietor. I did not want to continue in the corporate world. My current business gives me an opportunity to help customers through a process that they know very little about. Makes me feel that
i am contributing. I have built construction projects all over the United States and some abroad. Since I am a builder, I thought that I can surely provide inspection services. I took additional training and became licensed in the State of Ohio.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters to me in business is that I can help people. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and pride. Personally, I work to be the best father that I can be and a great friend. I have friends who call on me often to get advice in their homes and business. And I am happy to do it.

• It’s important to me that I am competitive. I may not be the cheapest but i will work to keep them out of trouble.
