Hi Henri, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Henri Rapp, and I’m a production sound mixer & location sound recordist for TV, film, & commercial video productions. I’ve been lucky to call the likes of Netflix, NBC, American Greetings, Disney, Amazon, Loctite, NFL, Nike, YouTube, Verizon, and countless more my clients. Production sound is all about capturing performances and dialog on set to match up with visuals caught in camera. I started my audio career in the world of recording studios producing rock bands. Beyond production sound in 2026 I launched a second business, Rapp Creative Studio, a web design company that specializes in copywriting, web media production, and creating sites that attract organic web traffic. Over the years of designing my own websites for my work as a sound mixer and for friends within world of production, I found I both had a knack and interest in building websites. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Freelancing and running your own business always has challenges. As a solo company everything falls on me, the admin, financials, sales, execution of work, etc, so it’s a constant learning experience and consistently makes me better.
