Hi Donnetta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Social Butterfly Public Figure Donnetta Carter is known for her Business and Health Expo, Small Business Saturday, and Christmas Bazaar. Marketing and promoting Fund-raiser for non-profit organizations. She tailored her events to meet their needs and accomdates the guests and entrepreneurs.
The Social Butterfly LLC. has been in business since 2012 and begin with a hobby that turn into full pledge business with a EIN # business insurance database of small businesses for the Expo’s. Rapid Growth and prosperity of the business has been exceptional. We have created a website for businesses www.thesocialbutterflyllc.com
This allows the user friendly website to the community-at-large of what’s happening, the Mission Statement and Services provided.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were challenges operating a small business as an event organizer. First, adjusting the times of the Expo’s were revised to longer time in which allows the guests and entrepreneurs to network and gain potential customers. Also, added more community resources such as mental health housing, employment opportunities. Furthermore a variety of Sponsorship, Partnerships along with collaboration with the Expo’s gives broad range of services and opportunities. For example, Taylor Automotive Family, City of Toledo, Huntington National Bank, Imagination Station, Metroparks of Toledo, Toledo Museum of Art Glass Blowing and many more.

We’ve been impressed with The Social Butterfly – Donnetta M. Carter, LLC. , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the event organizer for Business and Health Expo by securing the Small businesses to participate and selling their products and wares. Also obtaining a venue and promoting and marketing the event to the community-at-large. By appearing on television shows, social media platforms, save the date postcards, radio, newspaper and billboard. Also, I tailored the event to meet the needs to the community-at-large. I am known as the Social Media Guru of Marketing and Promoting events. I will get the word out with my team of Volunteers, Sponsorship and supporters. What set “The Social Butterfly Public Figure Donnetta Carter” is I am consistent, transparency and professionalism and I have organizational leadership skills. What makes my shows different from others is that is free admission and parking. Handicapped accessible and all services provided are complimentary. Such as health screenings, Massage therapy and Hearing testing. What I am proud is I am in my fifteen year of services. Finally, the community and entrepreneurs encourages me to continue annually with Expo’s and Fundraising events.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
First make sure you are consistent, transparency and documentations is very important and this will allowed a paper trial. New start businesses should utilize resources in there community. such as there Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, there local banks that offers capital and credit cards for small businesses. Finally set obtainable goals for making revenue and it may take 2 to 4 years for you to make salary after expenses. Evaluate your business and implement a plan and execute the plan and survey – feedback of your business. See if this is your niche and if not you can always try something new and move forward. You will have some failure and success. Also remember McDonald’s, Amazon, Macy’s started small an eventually expand over time to where they are now. Also have a positive energy because this will impact how you lead your business and your company is a reflection of you. Also review feedback – surveys because this can assist you with growth and prosperity.
