Today we’d like to introduce you to Shae’era Jackson.
Hi Shae’era, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
If someone had told my younger self that at 33 I would be the founder of a wellness coaching business, I probably would have looked at them like they were ten-carat crazy.
Growing up, I didn’t have much awareness around mental health or personal development. It wasn’t until late 2017, when I reached one of the lowest points in my life, that I began to truly understand how deeply our mental and emotional well-being can impact everything around us. At the time, I was raising my two children (now three), working jobs that I knew in my heart weren’t meant for me, and feeling stuck in a cycle that I desperately wanted to break. In that moment, I made a decision that something in my life had to change.
I began slowly rebuilding myself from the inside out. I spent a lot of time listening to motivational talks while driving, reflecting on my life, and shifting my mindset from “this is just how things are” to asking myself a different question: How do I want to feel today?
That question sparked a period of deep exploration. I started trying new things and reconnecting with creativity through photography, art, modeling, and other interests that helped me learn more about myself. At the time I didn’t realize it, but I was discovering who I truly was and who I wanted to become.
My journey eventually led me deeper into spirituality and self-reflection, where I discovered Tarot as a tool for personal insight. As I began studying and practicing it, I realized how powerful it could be when used intentionally for reflection and growth. When I started reading for others, I consistently heard how much the guidance and perspective helped them navigate their own lives.
In 2020, I went into what I like to call my “hermit mode,” spending a lot of time turning inward and doing the deeper inner work that many people tend to avoid. That period of reflection strengthened my curiosity about human growth and transformation.
In 2023, I attended Ohio Media School, where I learned marketing and began exploring how to turn my work into a legitimate business. That same year, I joined Mortar Entrepreneurship Academy to deepen my understanding of entrepreneurship and business development. Through that experience, I realized my passion wasn’t just offering Tarot readings, it was helping people understand themselves on a deeper level.
Today, I’m a NASM-certified Intuitive Wellness Coach and the founder of Divine Life Wellness. My mission is to help people reconnect with themselves, develop self-awareness, and build lives that feel aligned with who they truly are. I want people to understand that they aren’t broken, they’re becoming — and that they don’t have to walk that journey alone.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most entrepreneurial journeys, it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance multiple roles while building something meaningful. I’m a mother of three, a fiancée, and someone who has worked full-time while developing my coaching business. Learning how to honor my vision while still managing everyday responsibilities has been a major growth experience.
Another challenge has been learning to trust my own voice and recognize the value of what I have to offer. When your work is rooted in personal development and self-discovery, it requires a certain level of vulnerability. For a long time, I struggled with seeing my worth and believing that my experiences and insights could truly help others.
Over time, I realized that authenticity is actually one of the greatest strengths a coach can bring to their work. I had to get out of my own way and trust that the lessons I’ve learned and the perspective I’ve gained could make a meaningful impact.
Those challenges ultimately helped shape the work I do today. They taught me resilience, self-trust, and the importance of staying aligned with my purpose — even when the path isn’t always easy.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Through Divine Life Wellness, I guide individuals through the process of developing deeper self-awareness so they can create meaningful and sustainable change in their lives. My work focuses on helping people explore who they truly are, understand their patterns, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
In our coaching sessions, we often explore things like emotional patterns, habits, personal values, belief systems, and the motivations that influence how people move through life. I believe that when people begin to understand these internal dynamics, they gain a much clearer perspective on how to create the life they truly desire. One of the things I often say is that you can’t change what you can’t see. Awareness is the first step toward transformation.
My approach blends practical wellness strategies with intuitive insight. Some clients come to me for personal development and lifestyle alignment, while others are also interested in exploring the spiritual side of their growth. I always aim to meet people where they are and create a space where they feel safe to explore themselves honestly.
What I believe sets my work apart is the balance between structure and deeper introspection. Some approaches to wellness focus only on external routines and productivity, while others lean purely into spirituality without grounding it in practical change. My work integrates both. I incorporate evidence-based wellness principles alongside emotional intelligence, intuition, and reflective self-discovery.
What I’m most proud of is creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves. Watching someone gain clarity, trust their inner voice, and begin living more authentically is one of the most rewarding parts of the work I do.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
People can work with me directly through my coaching practice. I offer structured coaching programs designed to help individuals explore their personal wellness journey, develop deeper self-awareness, and create meaningful changes that align with the life they truly want to live. These programs provide guided support over time so clients can build sustainable habits and gain clarity about their goals, values, and direction.
For those who may not be ready for a longer coaching container, I also offer individual sessions where we can focus on a specific challenge, life transition, or area of personal growth. My goal is always to meet people where they are and support them in a way that feels empowering and accessible.
Beyond coaching, I’m always open to collaborating with others who share a passion for personal growth, wellness, and community empowerment. That can include partnerships with other wellness professionals, creative collaborations, workshops, or community-based events that help bring these conversations into more spaces.
People can also support my work by following and engaging with the content I share, which is focused on encouraging reflection, self-awareness, and authentic living. My hope is to continue building a community where people feel inspired to explore who they are and step more confidently into the life they want to create.
