Rising Stars: Meet Alex Holt of Cincinnati

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Holt.

Hi Alex, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After graduation, I found myself working for a local landscaping company, and I started to enjoy things. We will create so shortly after our branched off with a close friend and started a lawn care service.. highlighter decided to grow my own company and make it a Lawn Care land scaping focused business around 2011. I started full-time and we have been growing ever since I come from very humble beginnings with just having a Honda Accord and a lot more in the trunk to follow my dreams. The beautiful thing about a dream. It continues to expand as long as she gives it the fuel to continue to create so just off my small drain we have branched into real estate amongst other things, and I am happy to say that we are continually growing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been everything but a smooth rack. It has had his challenges ups and downs if you think it would’ve probably been through it. From challenges of finding quality help to challenges of growing to. Cash flow issues being a small business it’s a number of things the main thing that I always tell myself is, we will figure out how to get to the next issues so that way we can continue to ahead.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What we do is transformed outdoor living spaces into places our clients can enjoy whether it’s just a simple Lawn Mowing or it’s an exquisite backyard. We like to prior our self in being in versatile we don’t do everything but the things we do we try to do it right we’ve grown organically through the Cincinnati area and we’re very appreciative of our community for allowing us to transform so many of their lawns and yards.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
First and foremost, I have to give all my praises to the heavenly father above, but then secondly I have to give it to my mother to Holt. She has been a rockstar for me. She has always been the battery in my back to help me keep going. She’s always encouraged me. She always told me to go for my dreams. She’s always been there for me and without her I wouldn’t not be a successful as I am. I just want to give her the praise and the thanks. I’ve had several mentors along the way that I am grateful for their time and appreciation. I will mention to a couple, but I don’t mean to leave anyone out.
Ash Patel was a great mentor to me. He always gave very good advice and very sharp mindset into thinking ahead.

Rodrigo Williams has always been a great mentor by showing and doing what he sets out to do and he leads mostly by example and I’m very appreciative of the relationship that we have. Watching him once inspired you to do more to create more to own more to build more.

Paul Washburn would be another person that has been a great mentor to me. He also leads by example and one thing that I like about him is he never stops for resilient and just watching him will inspire you.
