Hi Crystal, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2005, and what started as a passion quickly turned into a lifelong career. Over the years, I’ve grown alongside the industry constantly learning, evolving, and refining my craft.

In 2014, I officially stepped out on my own and launched what was then known as Styles by Crystal. I started as a one woman business, doing everything myself building clientele, marketing, continuing education, and reinvesting every dollar back into growth. I discovered early on that I loved specializing in lashes and brows and made it my mission to master that niche.

Through advanced certifications, ongoing training, and a deep commitment to high standards, the business steadily grew. In January of last year, we rebranded to Lash & Brow House to better reflect our long term vision a luxury, welcoming space in Mentor, Ohio that specializes in lashes, brows, and skin in a relaxing spa environment.

Today, Lash & Brow House is a thriving team of talented stylists who feel like family. We focus heavily on continued education, exceptional client experience, and building confidence in every client who walks through our doors.

The journey hasn’t always been easy entrepreneurship comes with risk, long hours, and constant growth but consistency, faith, and community support have been the foundation of our success. I’m incredibly grateful for our loyal clients, our amazing team, and the Mentor community for supporting our small business.

And truly, we’re just getting started!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Rebranding in January of last year was also a major leap of faith. Changing a name that clients had known for years felt scary, but I knew it was necessary to align with the bigger vision I had for the business. Growth sometimes requires stepping into discomfort in order to elevate.

As a natural leader, I’ve always loved cheering others on and helping them grow. But building and maintaining high standards both for myself and my team takes constant intention. Navigating industry changes, economic shifts, and scaling a small business has required adaptability, confidence, and a strong foundation.

Every challenge has strengthened us. The obstacles didn’t break us they refined us.

As the owner of Lash & Brow House, I consider myself both an artist and a business owner. I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2005, and what has always drawn me in is the creative side of transformation enhancing someone’s natural features in a way that feels effortless, elevated, and confidence boosting.

At Lash & Brow House, we specialize in all things lashes and brows. From advanced lash extensions to lash lifts, laminations, and custom brow design, our work is highly detailed and personalized. We believe lashes and brows are not one-size-fits-all every face is unique, and we tailor each service to complement our client’s features, lifestyle, and desired look.

Creativity in this industry is constantly evolving. I remain committed to continued education and innovation so that our team consistently delivers precision, artistry, and high standards. It’s not just about applying lashes it’s about balance, symmetry, texture, and enhancing natural beauty in a way that feels seamless.

What I’m most proud of is building a brand that blends artistry with professionalism and heart. Lash & Brow House isn’t just about beauty services it’s about creating an elevated, welcoming experience where clients feel confident and cared for.
