Exploring Life & Business with Hayden Meisberger of Premium Polishing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hayden Meisberger.

Hi Hayden, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started back in 2020, I was 16 and a sophomore in High school. A local farmer friend came to me and presented the idea of metal polishing, mostly focusing on semis. He explained how there was a need for it in the area and if I showed up, did good work, and stayed honest, that I would have more work than I could handle. He offered to buy me the materials to start off and in exchange that I would polish his truck. Little did I know this was the start to a journey that I never would have seen coming.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had many challenges and obstacles along the way. It has been a long journey to fining and honing in on the craft of metal polishing. Metal can be very difficult to work with at times due to the facts that there are several variables that can affect how it is going to shine. Depending on the level of shine and the quality that is trying to be achieved, the variables get more picky as you go up in quality. Learning and recognizing why the metal reacted differently in situations is the main challenge to get over. As time went on, I slowly began to pick up on little things and once you understand why its reacting a certain way, you can use your experience to learn and then execute in a way to solve the problem.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am the manager of Premium Polishing, a mobile metal polishing business. I travel around to local farm and trucking shops and I I focus my work on polishing semis. That would include everything that is aluminum or stainless on the trucks including, the wheels, tanks, step boxes, grille surround, and breathers. I specialize in sanding down the aluminum or stainless and restoring it to a mirror shine that is better than new and will last with shining bright with the proper maintenance. I also offer some other services that include polishing aluminum flatbeds on pickup trucks, speciality forged wheels, and stripping and polishing factory clear coated dually wheels. I take pride in my work and do my best to provide my customers with high quality service and shine that they will always remember.

How do you think about luck?
Luck hasn’t played into my business at all. I put my trust in the Lord and look to him for guidance and direction in regards to my business..
