Hi Heather, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been doing hair for over 15 years and have always loved helping people feel confident when they look in the mirror. After taking a break to stay home with my kids, life threw me a major curveball—I was diagnosed with cancer and found myself completely bald.
What started as one of the hardest seasons of my life ended up teaching me so much about true beauty, self-care, and the importance of scalp health. Once my hair started growing back, I became obsessed with learning how to take better care of it from the root up—literally!
That’s what inspired me to open my own head spa studio. Now, I get to help others on their own scalp and self-care journeys, creating a space that’s relaxing, educational, and luxurious.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Re-entering the workforce after eight years at home with my kids was both exciting and terrifying. I had to find my rhythm again—balancing mom life, family life, and business life all at once (and let’s be honest, that’s still a work in progress!).
Starting something completely new also came with a lot of unknowns. Would people love the concept? Could I actually make this dream work? There were plenty of moments of doubt, but I kept coming back to why I started—to help others feel confident and cared for and learn scalp care and self care is something we all need!

I specialize in scalp care and relaxation—helping people truly care for their hair from the root up. From the moment you walk into my suite, my goal is to make you feel completely comfortable and at ease. I want it to feel like your own little escape, and I believe I have achieved that at my head spa.
I’m known for creating a calm, welcoming space where you not only get to unwind, but also learn more about your scalp, hair health, and what it really needs. With my background in hair loss, scalp conditions, and overall hair wellness, every visit is part education, part self-care—and you leave with a calm you didn’t even know you needed.
