Hi Clancy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The BHR Agency LLC began in 2023 with just a few small clients while I was working from home. Over time, I started to see steady growth as more people reached out for professional, reliable services. By February 2025, I expanded into my first physical office located at 2323 W 5th Avenue, Suite 120, Columbus, OH 43204, and began taking tax clients in addition to my other offerings.
I’ve always known that I wanted to run my own business to have the freedom to manage my own clients and schedule while making a meaningful impact in my community. With a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s in Human Resources, I built The BHR Agency on a strong foundation of professionalism, organization, and client care.
Today, The BHR Agency is a multiservice business offering notary services, apostilles, power of attorney documentation, auto titles, acknowledgments, jurats, oaths and affirmations, deeds, loan documents, translations, and wedding officiant services. I am also fluent in both Spanish and English, which allows me to serve a broader range of clients and make our services accessible to the diverse community we work with.
We’ve grown through dedication, consistency, and word of mouth and I’m proud to see how far we’ve come in such a short time.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
ust like any business, we’ve had our busier times and our quieter periods, but we always have meaningful work to do each week. Our focus has always been on helping our clients with every service they need, whether it’s notary work, translations, wedding officiating, or handling documents like apostilles and power of attorney.
One of the most rewarding parts of our journey has been seeing the trust and loyalty of our clients grow. We have many repeat clients and also receive a lot of referrals from people who’ve experienced our services firsthand. Knowing that our work genuinely makes a difference for our clients keeps us motivated and passionate, even during the challenging moments.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I view risk-taking as an essential part of growth, both personally and professionally. One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was quitting my full-time job to dedicate myself fully to The BHR Agency LLC. What made it especially bold was that it happened right at the start of tax season, one of the busiest times of the year, when I was leaving a stable hourly position to invest all of my time and energy into my own business.
It was a leap of faith, but it allowed me to fully focus on expanding my services, building relationships with clients, and growing my brand. That decision taught me the importance of calculated risk, knowing your capabilities, trusting your preparation, and being willing to commit fully when an opportunity aligns with your goals. Looking back, it was a turning point that allowed the agency to flourish and reach the point it’s at today.
