Her journey into speaking on the subject of mental health was ignited by her own personal tragedy—the loss of her six-year-old son to a drunk driving incident. This life-altering experience propelled her into a mission to serve others, leading her to create the annual community event series, iGot You Covered. As CEO-the organization provides essential resources and support for families on their healing journey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sometimes addressing the stigma and misinformation around the scope of mental health especially in certain communities

Her journey into speaking on the subject of mental health was ignited by her own personal tragedy—the loss of her six-year-old son to a drunk driving incident. After sharing and publishing my story, I was graced to start the the non-profit and for profit business of providing mental health advocacy and resources to families. Many other opportunities related to my field of work began to open and literally has changed the trajectory of my business.
