Today we’d like to introduce you to Owen Fox.
Hi Owen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We began as a small group in late 2024, brought together by a shared love for cars and a passion for community. Throughout the winter, we hosted frequent meets and charity events, building something bigger with every gathering. Over time, we’ve grown into a movement that gives back more than we ever imagined. As we look ahead, we’re more driven than ever to continue growing and creating unforgettable experiences for our community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been an easy road, for a few reasons. One of the biggest challenges was simply staying motivated early on, especially when it felt like we weren’t making any real progress. Growth was slow, and that can be tough on a team. From day one, we’ve been committed to doing things the right way — using permitted lots, signing contracts with businesses, and staying organized — but earning trust isn’t easy, especially in a scene where others sometimes give the car community a bad name. That’s been a real hurdle, but we’ve learned to stay focused and let our actions speak louder than words.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We organize car shows and automotive events that bring people together — not just to showcase builds, but to build a real sense of community. We specialize in underground-style events that are still well-organized and respectful.
We’re most proud of how far we’ve come — from a small group of friends to hosting full-scale, permitted events with business partnerships and hundreds of cars. What sets us apart is our consistency, our commitment to doing things the right way, and the genuine energy we put into every event. We’re building something real for the culture.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about Columbus is the passion and heart you feel from the people here. The community knows how to rally together for a cause, and that energy shows up in everything from charity events to car culture. As for what I like least, honestly, I don’t have much to complain about. I’ve lived here my whole life, and to me, Columbus is only going up from here.
