Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Bodis.

Hi Taylor , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hey, I’m Taylor! I’ve been a full-time photographer for the past eight years, and while I started out doing a bit of everything—weddings, seniors, babies—you name it, I eventually found my true passion in Boudoir. And once I did, I never looked back.

Empowering women through photography is what lights me up most. It all started with a little Kodak camera when I was 12 or 13, taking photos of my mom in her grandma’s vintage dress. That joy never really left—I just pressed pause for a bit while I went to nursing school. But soon enough, the camera found its way back into my hands, and Boudoir quickly became my calling.

Now, I have an incredible VIP group on Facebook with over 25,000 amazing women who have supported my work and helped grow my bookings beyond what I ever imagined. I also run my own studio in downtown Canton—a space my mom and I proudly own together. After working from in-home studios for years, having a dedicated space that’s mine feels like a dream come true.

This journey has been all about connection, confidence, and creating space for women to feel powerful in their own skin—and I truly never want to stop.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been an easy road. For a long time, I was part of a very controlling religion that made me feel like I had to hide what I was doing—that empowering women wasn’t something I should be doing. But since stepping away from that, I’ve been able to fully embrace who I am and what I love. It opened my eyes to the beauty all around me, and even more so, the beauty within the women I work with.

Despite the challenges, this work has always felt like something I was meant to do. It never felt heavy or forced—it’s just me. And I’m so grateful to do what I love in a way that’s fully aligned with who I am.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What I’m most proud of is how my work helps women see their own power. There’s nothing like the moment a client sees herself in a new light—watching her eyes light up when she sees her photos is absolutely indescribable. It’s a feeling that’s changed how I view myself, too.

I think what really sets me apart is my genuine love for people and for what I do. I lead with heart, and that authenticity shows in every session. Empowering women isn’t just my job—it’s truly my passion.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I truly believe that the opinions of society—or anyone else—don’t define you. The only opinion that really matters is your own. If I can help women see that, if I can show them the power they already have within, they become unstoppable. And in doing that for others, I’ve learned to feel that same strength in myself. It’s shown me that I can be unstoppable too—and that I’m capable of anything I set my mind to.
